DJ Chris P, an icon in the Boston club scene, is one of the most sought after DJ's around. Over the past decade he has earned that position and notoriety through his dedication and perseverance because of his love of music, which has made him one of the biggest house DJ's in Boston. In the early years DJ Manolo, his friend and mentor, took him under his wing and showed him the ropes. With that help and training, Chris got his first big break from handing out mix CD's, which landed in the hands of a club promoter who gave a young kid from Boston a shot, and he sold out the night. Over the next few years he began playing 4 to 5 nights a week, became the resident DJ at Il Panino, Karma and Vision, selling out most nights. He has played at some of the biggest clubs in Boston such as, The Roxy, Avalon, Embassy, Axis, The Matrix, Venu, Tilt, Tantra, Aria, Suite, Mantra and Absolute, while doing guest spots in Rhode Island clubs as well. He has been featured in DJ Times, 411 Nitelife, Stuff at Night. Signed as a remixer for X-Mix productions he did numerous remixes on the X Mix label for Brittany Spears, Kelis, Who Da Funk, Oscar G, Gary Wright and Rob Thomas just to name a few. From there he was signed to Realm Music in Miami as an artist DJ, and started doing club nights in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, playing at Baja Beach Club, Revolution, Trio, The Bermuda Triangle and The Vodoo Lounge. While in Florida he was offered an opportunity to play in the VIP room at Crobar-South Beach, Miami, which led to gigs at The Shadow Lounge, The Living Room, Cleavender, Blue, Bed, Liquid and many more. From South Beach he was invited to do Spring Break in Cancun, Mexico playing at Congo Bongo's, The City and Fat Tuesdays. The promoters liked what they saw and heard and began booking him around the country and in the Islands. He has had the privilege to play along side such DJ's as Johnny Vicious, George Acosta, DJ Scribbles, Richie Santana, Anthony Acid, Louie Devito, Cosmic Gate and Jonathan Peters and has opened for Tiesto, AVB and Paul Van Dyke. He continues doing what he loves to do in Boston and travels once a month to various places for gigs. During the day you can find him in the studio remixing and producing by himself or with Johnny Vicious and Gene Williams.
